28-0-0 High Nitrogen Lawn Food contains 70% quick-release nitrogen fertilizer to jump-start greening and growth and 30% slow-release liquid nitrogen so growth doesn't drop between applications. This Lawn Food is best to enhance green and growth or to correct Nitrogen nutrient deficiency. 

This lawn fertilizer is great for warm-season grasses as a spring or summer fertilizer, and for cool-season grasses as a spring or fall fertilizer when grass growth is at its peak.

For best results, water the lawn for 20 minutes within 24 hours of application. Water is essential for maintaining your lawn, and your lawn should receive 1-2 inches of water per week. Fertilizer will not treat a lawn that is suffering from disease, pests, weed infestations, or drought, and these conditions should be treated separately.
