Collection: Perennial Ryegrass Fertilizer

Perennial Ryegrass Fertilizer: For new perennial ryegrass, use a "starter" fertilizer high in phosphorus, applied into the soil before seeding, like our Growth Booster 6-18-0. For established PRG lawns, use a high-nitrogen fertilizer, such as a 28-0-0 Lawn Food or 16-4-8 NPK Lawn Food, applied monthly in spring and fall. During summer, it's best to apply lower Nitrogen micro nutrient fertilizer such as Darker Green Liquid Iron for lawns or Micro Booster. Be sure to not over apply Nitrogen. As it gets closer to winter, a High Potash fertilizer like our 0-0-25 Lawn Food or 3-18-18 Lawn Food is a great choice to prep the grass for winter. Always water the fertilizer in thoroughly and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
